Hard luck to the local Post Primary Schools teams in recent Munster Finals: St Mary’s Under 17 hurling team lost the Munster Final (Corn An Darra Uí Dhonabháin Under 17 ‘C’) to Hazelwood, Dromcollogher. Newport College lost their Munster Final (Corn Liam Ó Cinneide Under 19 ‘E’) to St Pauls Community College, Waterford.
