Peil na nÓg

Faoi 15’s: Both Under 15 football  teams recorded good wins in their respective Championship matches last Thursday evening v Toomevara & Clonakenny. The Under 15A team travelled to Monroe on Saturday morning to play their Feile Peil Group matches. They drew their opening game v Moyle Rovers 1-07 to 2-04 and had comfortable wins over Cashel King Cormac’s & Boherlahan. They played JK Brackens in their Feile semi-final on Tuesday evening in Lacken Park and came through on a scoreline of 1-5 to 0-3. They will play the final on Sunday in Thurles against Moyle Rovers. The second team play their Feile Peil Group matches this Saturday in Pairc na nÓg with games v Thurles Gaels, Durlas Óg & Clonakenny. Their first game throws in at 10:10 AM. Both, under 15 Football teams play their Football Championship matches on Thursday evening in Lacken Park. The Under 15 Group A team play Kiladangan at 19:00, while the Group C team play Morcarkey–Borris at 18:30.

Faoi 13’s:  Our Under 13 A & D football teams played Toomevara in their final group matches in the North Championship last Tuesday evening. In two well contested matches Toomevara came out on top on scorelines of 1-06 to 0-02 & 3-01 to 1-02.

The Premier Intermediate Hurlers travelled to Templetouhy on Tuesday evening, when despite a much improved performance, they come up just short against the home side on a scoreline of 2-16 to 1-17.
